Before we can look into the doctrine of adoption, we need to remind ourselves of justification.
As described in the Bible, justification is the act of grace through Jesus Christ, whereby the sin/guilt of the sinner is cancelled and righteousness is credited to him. (2 Cor. 5: 21) In short, the sinner is declared "discharged and acquitted" in the Presence of God, the Judge of all men.

What is freemasonry all about? Is it a religion, a club, an elitist society or a cult? Someone once said it is about "money, fame, and power". If that is true, then it would be just an elitist society. But is it just that?

(CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF THE LATTER DAY SAINTS)

A common question asked of Christians who make an effort to witness to Mormons is: "Why are you attacking Mormonism? We never malign your faith, so why attack ours?"

Tracts

The answer to the question is, "No. It is not Christian." Like all non-Christian cults, the Jehovah's Witness organization distorts the essential doctrines of Christianity. It denies the deity of Christ, His physical resurrection, and salvation by grace.

1. Doctrine of Jehovah Witness

Only the Watchtower Society can interpret the Bible. Individuals cannot.

Basis for JW’s doctrine:

"...the Bible is an organizational book and belongs to the Christian congregation as an organization, not to individuals, regardless or how sincerely they may believe that they can interpret the Bible...the Bible cannot be properly understood without Jehovah's visible organization in mind" (Watchtower, October 1, 1997, p. 587).
